Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion,….”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“…And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!””

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In reading Chapter 4 of Revelation, we get to see a literal glimpse into the very throne room of God. Clad with illustrious materials, booming with rumbles of thunder and trumpets, and the sound of constant praise. We get to envision one of the seraphim that is ‘like a lion’. All throughout the Bible we can read about lions both literally and symbolically. What is incredible here in Revelation is that the sole purpose (that we know of) of this seraphim is to praise YAHWEH—continually. One of the many purposes of Santa Fe Christian is to help raise up Christ-like leaders that know how to and desire to praise The Lord.

We have been teasing a Polaris RZR the past few months to be used in our first fundraising event. On Saturday, August 14th that ended up being pulled away from us. (But God) However, within the same minute of that phone call, we were gifted an incredible, cherry red 1968 Camero that we will be using in its place. Thank you to our anonymous donors for stepping out in faith and sharing your blessing with SFC!

We also received a preliminary code review for the facility we plan on using for the first two years and capacity exceeds the numbers we had planned on—meaning that we have more than enough room for these lions!

God has not left out any detail in anything He’s ever done. He is continuing to show us that He is for SFC; who can be against it! Please join us right now, this week, this month, and forever in thanking Him! “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

Please continue to join us in prayer for the school and all that He is doing with this mission. If you’re interested in donating to SFC please click on the donate button below!

If you’re interested in the raffle, keep an eye on your inbox as it will be launching this month!

August 2021

“…pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children…”

‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lamentations was written in the context of when Jerusalem was being seized and destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar under the reign of Zedekiah. The prophet Jeremiah continually pours out passionate prayers all throughout this book, but in this verse in particular, it’s about their children. What’s the crux? Pray for your children. More specifically, “Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children….”  Yes, it was about starvation and the besiege from their enemies; but, when stepping back and looking at the spiritual realm, are we in the same battle today? Being harassed and sometimes captured by the enemy in a world starved of our Savior?

Many of you are already lifting the future SFC students up in prayer. We are asking that as you continue praying for your children, also pray for their future classmates, teachers, staff, and even the future school building.

The SFC team continues to work diligently. This past month we’ve been working on the permitting and requirements. Our covenant agreement should be signed, sealed, and delivered by the end of August!! Be sure you keep an eye on your inbox for our facility announcement!

The Staff/Faculty Handbook has been passed on to our editor and the Parent/Student handbook is underway as well! All of you Roar readers will be notified when these documents are published.

The Lord continues to bring the right people at the right time for every need! Thank you so much for your time and support and especially for your prayers!

To get more involved as the work continues, please send an email to [email protected] for one of our team members to contact you with specific opportunities for God to use you in the mission of Santa Fe Christian.

Aren’t you glad we serve a “…Mighty Warrior…”!?! (Zephaniah 3:17)

Lastly, we will be launching our first fundraising campaign this fall! Make sure you stay subscribed and follow our social media channels for your chance to win a POLARIS RZR similar to the one featured below.

July 2021

Did you know that lions can typically be found living in prides of up to 30-40 members? There is strength in numbers. We as Christians can relate very well to that!

As iron sharpens iron, we need one another for refinement! We are so thankful to have met some new faces recently that have offered the SFC team so much wisdom; but even more than that, prayer. We are still navigating some pretty large tasks and- continue to ask for your prayers.

Good news? We have unofficially secured a facility for the first 1-2 years of SFC life. Excited and thankful, we have been asked to not release any names until we have reached a mutual covenant agreement. From there, we will begin the ever so lovely, city permitting process. SFC is still on the hunt for a forever home so if you or somebody you know has any tips or connections to land, or a structure that’s available, we would be happy to receive more information!

More good news…? We will be launching our first fundraising campaign this fall! Make sure you stay subscribed and follow our social media channels for your chance to win a POLARIS RZR similar to the one featured below.

Exciting stuff, right? Don’t forget about our second interest meeting Friday, July, 9th! Click HERE for more info.

If you, or someone you know is ready to become involved, please email us at [email protected]

If you’re still not being called in this direction, please add SFC to your prayer list. That His will be done, for His glory.
